Teacher Assistant – English Academy (Kindergarten Classes) Oviedo | September 14, 2026 – June 2027 We are a friendly English academy in Oviedo looking for a Teacher Assistant to support our English teacher with kindergarten children (ages 2–5). This is an ideal position for someone who loves working with young children, is energetic, patient, creative, and enjoys helping children learn through games, songs, movement, and fun activities. Responsibilities: Assist the English teacher during classes Help manage classroom routines and transitions Support children with activities, crafts, games, and learning tasks Encourage participation in English through songs, movement, and play Help maintain a positive, caring, and organized classroom environment Assist with preparing and tidying classroom materials Schedule: From September 14, 2026 until end of June 2027 Monday & Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm Tuesday & Thursday: 5:25 pm – 6:25 pm Total hours: 7 hours per week Requirements: Experience working with young children (teaching, childcare, camps, babysitting, etc.) Good level of English (spoken)(C1) Warm, patient, responsible, and energetic personality Ability to work well as part of a team EU work permit / legal right to work in Spain We offer: Friendly and supportive work environment Experience in a professional English teaching academy Opportunity to work with young learners in a fun, communicative setting If you enjoy working with children and helping them learn English in a playful environment, we’d love to hear from you!
